This is a pair of traditional clog (Klomp: original name) from the Netherlands.

A clog is a type of shoe made partly or entirely of wood. Clogs are used globally, their forms may vary from culture to culture, but they have often remained unchanged for centuries within a culture.

Traditional clogs are used in agriculture and mining. Although they are sometimes negatively related to farmers and ordinary people's cheap and folk shoes, some types such as Swedish Tresor and Japanese Geta are considered fashion today.

Clogs were no longer limited to thick wooden shoes. Clogs are not only utilitarian but also fashionable. They can be worn with formal apparel such as suits and dresses, but they can also be worn with casual and semi-formal wear such as jeans and khakis.

They can be worn indoors or outdoors for any circumstance, including work, school, and enjoyment. Many clogs include open toes. Some are designed to look like high-heeled sandals, while others are designed to look like casual loafers.

Because they provide enough breathability, clogs can be worn to work or while conducting vigorous activities such as walking, gardening, or jogging. Clogs have padded insoles for comfort, and the outsole is frequently coated to offer traction on various types of terrain.
